Yesterday I got a text message from a friend in Casper and it totally made my day. I was not expecting her to take any more pictures from now and next week when we arrive, but she did! I absolutely am excited about how much progress they have made in a week!!

Week 5 of our house
A soon to be great friend of ours...we actually met her the last time we were in Casper checking things out and her husband is a 3rd year resident....she took a picture of our house while she was out for a walk. I was so excited to see the progress they made!! Where the 2 "wavy" looking posts leaning is where our front door will be.
This is looking at the garage.
By the time we move there the whole house should be framed!! I am sooo excited to watch the progress of our home be built. It is a new experience and it's fun to see how builders do things.

Casper
This last weekend we went to Casper to finalize our housing...and the night we arrived we had to drive by our lot to pick up the key for the place we were going to stay at and to our surprise this is what we found...
Our house!! :)
This is our block!
Our house from behind
There was a gorgeous storm rolling in...I love the prairie storms
Even though this is our neighbor's yard, this is the size our yard is going to be...
After signing the contract and going over certain things with our realtor we had some free time, so we headed up to Casper Mountain...Gorgeous views...
Another fun thing is they have a waterfall!!
Montezuma's Castle
On our way home from the Grand Canyon we stopped to have lunch at Montezuma's castle. It is a nice little 15-30 min stop after a long car ride.
Here is our picnic spot!
My little guy is a stud...he just climbed this wall all by himself.
Montezuma's Castle
It was getting warm, so we had to wrap E's jacket around her...She wouldn't let me take it off
Another picture of Montezuma's Castle
Even though I had these uploaded different the next pictures are out of order...Here is a "hotel" like place that the people made.
And this is the sign for the "hotel" describing exactly what it was built for..I think they are kind of like apartments too.
The lake where they got their water for their farms and other provisions

Grand Canyon
Our pictures are a little mixed up...but this was our trip to the Grand Canyon. Both Mike and I have never been so when Mike found out that the last week of April was National Park week and that ALL the entry fee's are free...we decided to make a quick trip up! We headed up on a Wednesday morning, did the bus tour, set up camp, and then Thursday morning we took in some more sights, did another short bus tour, and headed home...along the way we stopped at Montezuma Castle, but I'll post about that on it's own.
Our first family picture at the Grand Canyon...J was pretty scared out of his wits when Mike picked him up for the picture. He did not like the look of the drop from where we were standing
Emma was so wiped out that she fell asleep in my arms while walking...I cannot remember the last time she has done this, but I loved it! Until she got too heavy.. LOL
I love my man!
J wanted us to take a picture of him and E sitting on some rocks.
He also asked me to take this picture of him...He is becoming quite photographic
Is it just me or would you be nervous too? I was so nervous when Mike would carry E like this and go close to the edge
I am so glad we took this quick trip because the Grand Canyon is absolutely breath taking.
Our campsite...
J wanted to help carry the camelback...he is just too cute
They have a train that comes from a city...I can't remember which one...but you ride it to the Grand Canyon in the morning and then in the afternoon/evening you ride it back to the city. Pretty sweet idea if you ask me!
Waiting for our bus on Hermit Road
Can you spot the river?
