Casper: our first Month

Ok so some of the pictures are messed up and mixed up...so bare with the craziness :)....Emma and Jaxon trying on boots at the Boot Barn. One day we will buy them a pair of boots. Because how stinking cute are little boots!!
We live really close to Martin's Cove, which as some of you may know is the place where the Martin Handcart company had to stay during the winter and lost a lot of people to the weather, illness, and other ailments. It's a very sacred ground for LDS members. I have been blessed to be there before with my mutual group when I lived in Cheyenne, but going back with my kids and husband was a different experience. One, we were all hot and didn't bring enough water...the missionaries gave us water though...and two a male antelope almost charged at us because Dozer was in his territory!!

Another fun thing we did, was buy Jaxon a cowboy hat and cowboy pants, so we could be all ready for the rodeo!! The picture below is a version of an Arizonian Cowboy!

The week we moved there, it was the College Rodeo finals...since we had bought some stuff at Boot Barn we were able to get in for free. Jaxon loved watching and then towards the end he was getting a little tired and wiggly. Rodeos are long for 2 and 4 year olds!! But Mike had an absolute blast. He was getting back to his roots!! Which surprise he was a cowboy mostly growing up...he would always go spend his summers working on his Grandpas ranch with his cousins and even dressed full on cowboy in Junior High!!
This is a Mike look alike picture!! Seriously he is his fathers son

"Howdy Partner"
Emma didn't really pay attention to the rodeo, instead she wanted to talk to all the people around us. Her favorite was this old lady sitting in front of us.

My cowboy

Yum! ;)

Here is a shot of some calf roping.
