Mike is an amazing guitar player and he has 3 guitars hanging out in our bedroom since he doesn't get too much time to play during school. He is looking forward to playing more now that he will have a little extra personal time when rotations start and boards are done!! J has noticed the guitars and constantly asks to play them. I am not a guitar player and thought it would be a fun activity for Dad and J! Right before bed this week Mike took a break from studying to play the guitar with J. We are teaching J to strum the strings instead of bang the guitar because it will "break" :) I swear my little boy is going to be some amazing musician or something dealing with music. He really is musical. The first thing he remembers is the tune of a song and has started putting different words into that tune, even though he knows the real words. I love to hear my little man sing and now Mike can teach him to "play" the guitar. J usually plays the piano but this is something new and awesome!!! :)
